produce beautiful results with minimal noise when shooting at
high sensitivity (ISO) settings along with its continuous shooting
capabilities optimize the performance of Night landscape and

The imaging power of a 16.0 effective-megapixel Back-illuminated
CMOS image sensor works seamlessly with Lens-shift VR image
stabilization, even when using the super-telephoto end of the
zoom lens to produce beautiful pictures, whether capturing the
magnifi cence of an open vista, or zooming in for a close-up portrait.
7.5-cm (3-in.) high-resolution LCD monitor with
wide viewing angle
The new 7.5-cm (3-in.) 921k-dot (approx.) high-
resolution LCD monitor for the COOLPIX S9300
employs Nikon’s Clear color display technology,
which allows it to remain highly visible and
sharp indoors or out. It also provides a wide
viewing angle that lets you and those you are
with all fully enjoy the same quality viewing
experience.
GPS with logging, POI and Electronic compass
A high-performance GPS chip records location
data for each shot, and can also log your
movements, even when not taking pictures.
An onboard database of approximately
1.7 million POI (Points of Interest) lets you
confi rm and record
the name of the location when
shooting. There is also an Electronic
compass function that displays the
