Special button combinations
A special button combination (SBC) can be used to enter/disable the configuration mode or perform a factory reset.
1 SBC: Enter the configuration mode
Select one contact (A0, A1, B0 or B1) of the 4-fold dimmer switch, Bluetooth
®
.
1. Push and hold this button, together with the energy bow, for more than 7 seconds. Release.
2. Push and hold the same button, together with the energy bow, for less than 2 seconds. Release.
3. Push and hold the same button again, together with the energy bow, for more than 7 seconds. Release.
The dimmer switch will enter configuration mode (*) and transmit configuration telegrams whenever the selected button is pushed-released.
4. Push any other button to revert to normal mode
(*) If the configuration mode has been disabled (see 3 SBC), the dimmer switch will not enter configuration mode when executing the above procedure. Perform a factory reset to re-enable configuration mode.
3 SBC: Disable the configuration mode
1. Remove the central plate from the 4-fold dimmer switch, Bluetooth ®
2. Push and hold the three contacts (A0, AI, BI) together with the energy bow for minimum 10 seconds. Release.

dimmer switch is now disabled. Perform a factory reset to re-enable configuration mode.
4 SBC: Perform a factory reset
1. Remove the central plate from the 4-fold dimmer switch, Bluetooth
®
2. Push all four contacts (A0, AI, B0, BI). These contacts can be released any time after the energy bow has been pushed. Keep the energy bow pushed for at least 10 seconds. Release.
A factory reset is performed. All parameters will revert to the default settings. The configuration mode will be re-enabled if it was disabled before and the NFC access will be restored if it was locked.

If you are using an NFC enabled smartphone, the NFC antenna is most likely located in the phone’s upper half. The 4-fold dimmer switch, Bluetooth

has an NFC antenna located in the centre of the device.
2. Configure the dimmer switch using the software tool (for example Xicato ® Control Panel) or smartphone app (Casambi® or Sylsmart ® ) which can be downloaded from iOS App store or Google Play store.
