5.2.1 Greasing the Transmission Case

Remove the plug [1] from the grease
filler opening with the specialized tool

attached to powerhead.

Grease from the grease filler opening

Refit the plug [1] of the grease filler

opening with the specialized tool
attached to powerhead.

Note

Do not discard grease into the river, the sea, or the ground. Otherwise, it could pollute the environment.

● Use a specified grease (general purpose No. 2 lithium grease). Also referred to as NLGI Grade-2

Lithium Based Grease. Using the wrong grease can lead to damage or failure.

5.2.2 Greasing the Gear Case

Remove the plug [2] from the grease
filler opening with the specialized tool

attached to powerhead.
