DEFROSTING
Defrost the appliance when the layer of ice has reached a
thickness of 3 to 5 mm.
Set the thermostat to the lowest position and remove the plug
from the socket. Remove all products from the freezer section.
Store the frozen products on a cool location, packaged in
newspapers and blankets.
Place a receptacle under the freezer section and wait for the
ice to defrost. Defrosting can be accelerated by placing a tray
with hot water in the freezer section.
Remove ice using a plastic scraper.
Warning: Never remove ice with sharp objects, defrosting
sprays, a hair dryer, a heater or something similar. This could
lead to unsafe situations and cause irreparable damage to the
appliance.
Clean and dry the freezer section. Set the thermostat to the
required position. Place the frozen products back in the freezer
section once it has reached the required temperature.
