2 - TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
2.1 - Electrical characteristics
This alternator is a machine without sliprings
or revolving armature brushes, wound as
“2/3 pitch”, 6 and 12-wire, with class H
insulation and a field excitation system
available in either SHUNT, AREP or PMG
version.
• Electrical options
- Space heater
In order to conform to standard EN 61000-
6-3, EN 61000-6-2, EN 55011, the R791
interference suppression kit is needed.
2.2 - Mechanical characteristics
- Steel frame
- Cast iron end shields
- Protected ball bearings, greased for life
- Mounting arrangements: single bearing
with standard feet and SAE flanges/coupling
discs
- Drip-proof machine, self-cooled
- Degree of protection: IP 23
