Safety Notes
WARNING
Leak-test the cooktop per the manufacturer’s instruc�ons. Do not use a
flame to check for gas leaks. Use a brush to spread a soap-and-water solu�on
around the area you are checking. If there is a gas leak, small bubbles will appe
ar
in the solu�on.
If you smell gas:
Close the valve and do not use the cooktop.
Do not light a match, candle, or cigare�e.
Do not turn on any appliances.
Do not touch an electrical switch or plug in a power cord.
Do not use any phone in your building.
Evacuate the building.
Immediately call your gas supplier, and follow their direc�ons. (If you
cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.)

To reduce risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury, or death:
Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet.
