Causes and corrective action in the event of malfunctions
Low hot water capacity
Too small external water heater.

Abnormally large hot water outlet in relation to the
■
external water heater’s volume.
Mixer valve set too low (if applicable).
■
Closed or throttled shut-off valves for the water heater. ■
Helping the circulation pump to start
Switching off the circulation pump. ■
Remove the protective hood and slacken off the vent-
■
ing screw. Hold a cloth around the screwdriver blade
as a certain amount of water may run out.
Insert a screwdriver and turn the pump rotor.
■
Screw in the venting screw.
■
Start the circulation pump and check its function. ■
Secure the protective hood in place.
■
It is usually easier to aid the circulation pump to start if it
is off. If helping the circulation pump to start when off, be
prepared for the screwdriver to jerk when the pump starts.
Low room temperature
Incorrectly set shunt valve (during manual shunting).

Air in boiler or radiator system.
■
Closed valve in the radiator circuit. ■
Switched off or jammed external circulation pump,
■
see section ”Helping the circulation pump to start".
High room temperature
Incorrectly set shunt valve (during manual shunting).

If the cause of the operating disturbance cannot be localised and remedied by means of
the above, an installation engineer should be called.
