Using the NI WSN-3202 Device
Analog Input Circuitry
Terminals 0–7 on the 18-position screw terminal connector are analog input. Each channel has an
AI terminal to which you can connect a voltage signal and an AI GND terminal which is internally
connected to the device analog ground reference.
The input signals are filtered, conditioned, and then sampled by a single 16-bit ADC. Figure 14 shows
the NI WSN-3202 input circuitry.

Connecting Analog Inputs to the NI WSN-3202
You can connect single-ended voltage signals to the NI WSN-3202. For single-ended connections,
connect the voltage signal positive lead to AI
x
. Connect the ground signal to AI GND. Each AI GND
terminal is internally connected to the device analog ground. Figure 15 shows a single-ended voltage
signal connected to the NI WSN-3202.
