Step 10: Building the Steps

For the steps up to the small platform use the four pieces of 3” x 1.5” timbers measuring
900mm long
•
The top piece can be screwed to both posts, making sure it is flush to the platform and to
the outside of the outside upright post
•
For the rest of the timbers, measure out equal distances between each step and secure
using the decking screws to each post. Take care when putting screws near the outside of
any timber. The holes may need to be countersunk as to avoid the timber splitting
