4.7 Standard CMOS Features
Selecting Standard CMOS Features on the main program screen displays the following menu:

The Standard CMOS S etup utility is used to c onfigure the following features:
Date (mm: dd:yy)
The BIOS determines the day of the week from the other data information. This field is for informat ion
only. Press the left or right arrow key to move to the desired field (date, month, year). Press the PgUp or
PgDn key to increment the setting, or type the desired value into the field.
Time (hh: mm:ss)
The time format is based on the 24-hour military time clock. For example, 1 p.m. is 13:00:00. Press the
left or right arrow key to move to the desired field. Press the PgUp or Pg Dn key to increment the setting,
or type the desired value into the field.
IDE Devices:
Your computer has two IDE channels (P rimary and S econdary) and each channel c an be installed with
one or two devices (Master and S lave). Use t hese items to configure each devic e on t he IDE channel.
Press < Enter > to display the IDE submenu:
