2. Formulating yogurt (see picture 2)
Method:
Place the ingredients into a bowl, and mix well, then pour into the glass jars and put the lids on.
Formula 1:
fresh milk (sterilized) + culture or (5% pure frozen yogurt).
Formula 2:
Pure milk (UHT packing) + culture or (5% pure frozen yogurt).
Note:
Please check the expiration date and quality of the ingredients. Follow the dosage of culture
according to the instructions on the manufactures packaging. Frozen yogurt which has expired or
if the culture loses activity cannot be used. You can add the dosage of the frozen yogurt according
to your own taste. Hot milk should be cooled to 40°C below , prior to adding culture to it.
Suggestion:
Use Active lactobacillus starter as the fermentation. If it’s hard to buy the
fermentation, you can use pure yogurt available at your local supermarket or your last homemade
yogurt (less than 3 days) as the fermente source.
