How to read 2D barcode with FM210
on the screen of mobile phone
The factory default mode is

Sensor Mode
”
.
You can read barcode immediately and use
QuickSet (A programming software exclusively
used by Newland Auto-ID products) or other
communication softwares to display decoded
data and captured images.
Mobile phone screen should be facing the scan
window for the optimum reading stance.
1. Unpack FM210 and accessories.
2. Insert RS232 cable (RS232 male head) into cable slot (FM210);
3. Insert RS232 cable (RS232 male head) into RS232 slot (Host female slot);
4. Switch ON and perform;
NOTE: You can use a RS232 or a USB connection. When using a USB connec-
tion, you may need to install driver into the Host to perform. The default protocol
is USB DataPipe, you can download it from Newland Auto-ID website. www.
