The scoreboard power switch is
off.

Make sure the switch is on.
(located near the battery

charger. If the LED on the charger
is ON or flashing 50/50 the
problem has been corrected.

The scoreboard will not light.

pressed, replace the batteries.
Move the control closer to the
scoreboard.

The control signal is weak.

Move the control to achieve line of
site with the scoreboard.

Control is pointed in the wrong
direction.

For maximum range, hold the
control parallel to the ground and
point it toward the scoreboard.

The scoreboard is slow or fails to
respond to key presses.

Control is not linked to
scoreboard.

Turn the scoreboard power switch
off. Then while holding down the
FUNCTION key on the control,
turn the power switch on. When
the horn sounds release the key.

Brightness level is set higher than
needed.

Use the FUNCTION key to adjust
the brightness level.

The battery is not being fully
charged.

Try recharging the battery. Check
the indicator on the charger to
make sure the battery is fully
charged.

The scoreboard battery runs down

Replace the battery.

Using old or poor quality batteries.

Replace the batteries with fresh
heavy duty alkaline type.

The control batteries run down
sooner than expected.

respond.

See Problem
