If you disable DHCP address acquisition and you don

t specify any static IP addresses, the only IP 

address that iViewHD will have is the automatically generated Link Local address. This may make 
iViewHD more difficult to locate on a network if your computer does not support link local addressing/
Bonjour. See 

Appendix A - Adding Route to Windows so Link Local Devices Can be Accessed 

if 

you have Windows and need to only use a link local address.

In order to have changes to the DHCP configuration or static IP addresses made, iViewHD will auto-
matically restart.
