Installation Guide for the NETGEAR Dual Band Wireless PCI Adapter WAG311

Basic Setup

Mount the antenna in the stand.

Connect the antenna to the adapter and
position the antenna to the up position.
Reconnect the power cord and reboot the
computer.

Close the PC, attach the power cord, and
follow the instructions below for your
version of Windows to proceed with
installing the software

After a short delay, the Found New
Hardware Wizard displays. Click

Next

and follow the prompts to proceed

Note

: Click

Yes

if you are prompted

with a Windows 2000 Digital Signature
Not Found warning message.

After the installation completes, click

Finish

to close the wizard.

You should see the WAG311 system tray
icon on the lower right portion of the
Windows task bar.

Mount the antenna in the stand

Note

The antenna base is magnetic. Please

be careful to place this base in a location

away from floppy disks, computer disk

drives and other devices adversely affected

by magnetism.
