Changing the Volume Lock

VOL-
. The LED blinks four times. Volume is independently
controlled for the selected device.

Repeat these to unlock the volume controls for additional devices.
Restore Independent Volume Control
(Global Unlock)
To set the remote to change the volume for only a selected device even if another device mode is
selected, do the following:
1.
Press and hold
SET
until the red LED blinks twice.
2.
Enter
9 9 3
, and then press
VOL+
. The LED blinks four times. Volume is independently
controlled for all programmed devices.
Note:
To unlock the volume controls for all devices, complete the instructions in
“Restore Independent Volume Control (Global Unlock) ” on page 3-10
.
Note:
This option is the default factory setting. Complete these instructions only if you
previously changed the volume control settings.
