1. Application
The Nestle sewer manhole aluminium tripod is designed specifically for detecting manhole geometries using
3D laser scanners. Here, the instrument will be connected with either 5/8 " thread or by an additional
optional coupling to the gear column of the manhole tripod. The gear column is lowered continuously into
the shaft by means of the supplied cordless screwdriver or crank. The gear column is thereby extended by
additional elements. Each gear column elements are connected to a secure locking mechanism to prevent a
drop of the 3D laser scanner.
The specific design and the supplied fittings enable operating up and down without rebuilding effort.
