Switch the kettle on with the switch in the handle bottom. The indicator light will show that the
kettle is in operation.

The kettle will switch off automatically when water has boiled. Now disconnect the kettle from the
mains power supply. Always keep the lid closed when pouring the water out. Beware of scalding!
Cleaning

Always pull out the plug from the socket before cleaning!

The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly damp cloth without harsh
chemicals or abrasives.
Decalcification
·
The frequency of the decalcifying operation depends on the hardness of the water and on how often
the appliance is used.
·
If kettle switches off before water boils, it probably needs to be decalcified.
·
Please only use a commercially available citric acid based decalcification agent according to
manufacturer’s instructions.
