Chapter 1: Product Description

This guide provides installation and maintenance instruction to help achieve maximum
performance of the High Performance (HP) PROTECTUS

®

III Fire Service Meter.

The HP PROTECTUS III meter measures both domestic and fire service water usage through a
single water line. The HP PROTECTUS III meter measures extremely wide flow ranges
accurately. All Neptune

®

fire service meters meet or exceed American Water Works

Association (AWWA) C703 Standard, are certified to NSF/ANSI 61, and are Underwriters
Laboratory (UL) listed and Factory Manual (FM) approved for fire service use.

The HP PROTECTUS III key features include:
