If 3/8” ID tubing is used, it is recommended that silicone tubing be used versus vinyl or
polyethylene tubing. Silicone tubing will grip the PMUP’s output tube securely without the
need for a clamp.

Optionally, an inline valve may be used to reduce flow, such as may be desirable when used for
feeding some reactors.
PHYSICAL INSTALLATION
WARNING: The PMUP must be submerged in water during operation. It must
not be run dry. If oriented vertically, the water depth must be at least 2”. If
oriented horizontally, the water depth must be at least 2.5”.
