BATTERY CHARGING
Plane laser is supplied with partially charged battery. It is recommended that the first charging lasts for 5 hours. Charge the
battery in ambient temperature between 4°C and 40°C.
• Carefully pull the lid latch in order to unlock the battery lid (5).
• The lid uncovers battery with external socket for charger (6).
• Insert charger cable plug into the socket for charger.
• Connect the charger to mains socket 230 VAC.
• When the battery is recharged, close the lid so the latch snaps in.
Do not charge the battery for more than 8 hours. Exceeding this time limit may cause damage to battery cells.
Batteries heat up strongly when charging. Do not operate just after charging – wait for the battery to cool down to
room temperature. It will prevent battery damage.
BATTERY LEVEL INDICATION
The plane laser is equipped with the battery level indicator diode.
• Green diode light means that the battery level is high.
• Red diode light means that the battery level is low.
"Pulse" feature changes laser beam frequency, using it is recommended in sunlight. Depending on ambient conditions (light
intensity, colour and roughness of the surface the laser is projected to), this feature on or off may improve laser visibility.
USE OF MAGNETIC HOLDER
• In order to attach the plane laser level to the magnetic holder, drive the threaded pin (2) into stand thread in the laser base,
use the wheel (1).
• The wheel (1) allows to set the plane laser level to the right or left.
• The wheel (3) allows to set the laser level up or down.
• The magnets (4) allow to attach the stand to metal surfaces.
• The holder is equipped with stand threads ¼” (5) and 3/8” (6).
HOW TO OPERATE THE LASER – SELF LEVELLING FEATURE
The laser offers self-levelling feature. The feature is operational within ±4° of the laser tilt.
• Switch the laser on, slide the self-levelling lock switch (1) to unlocked position.
• When the laser angle does not allow the self levelling feature to work (position angle greater than 4°), the laser will signal the
problem by intermittent sound, laser flashing and battery level indicator diode flashing.
• Set up the laser so it does not signal incorrect position, only then it will be possible to set horizontal line and vertical lines.
• Press the function change button (2) to toggle between projecting lines: horizontal, vertical I, vertical II, two or three lines
at the same time.
• Line visibility can be improved with the "Pulse" feature. To switch this feature on, press the button (3).
• To switch the laser off, slide the self-levelling lock switch (1) to locked position.
HOW TO OPERATE THE LASER – LASER LOCK FEATURE
The laser lock feature allows to project straight lines at any chosen angle.
• Leave the lock switch (1) in locked position.
• Press the Pulse button (3) to switch the laser on.
• Press the Pulse button (3) again to cycle through showing lines: horizontal, vertical I, vertical II, two lines at the same time
and switching the device off.
