FFP2 / FFP3 particle filtering half-face respirator
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
PPE=personal protective equipment according to PPE regulation EU 2016/

WARNINGS:
1. Incorrect use or disregard of the instructions given here for the use of the respiratory
protection mask can greatly reduce the effectiveness of this mask. Incorrect use can result
in nausea, fainting or unconsciousness, hyperventilation or even death.
2. A carefully selected mask is essential to protect your health. Before applying or using the
species protection mask, please check personally whether the respective particle filtering
half mask is at all practical for your application. If you are unsure about the use or the area
of application of the mask, consult a relevant safety officer or an appropriate safety
organization to determine exactly whether this breathing protective mask also meets the
requirements of the planned area of use and you are safely protected.
3. Particle-filtering half masks depend on the ambient atmosphere. Only use the mask if
there is adequate ventilation in the area. Do not use or apply if the atmosphere you are in
contains less than 19% oxygen in the atmosphere.
4. Particlefiltering half masks of types FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 must not be used if the concent-
ration of the pollutants poses an immediate threat to your health or life and the MAK or
TRK values have already been exceeded.
5. Do not use the respirator in an explosive atmosphere.
6. The work room or the premises in which you are wearing the mask. Ten must be left
immediately if you have difficulty breathing, if you experience symptoms of dizziness,
exhaustion or even shortness of breath.
7. Facial hair and special features of the face can reduce the effectiveness of this respirator.
8. Absolutely no changes or modifications may be made to the respirator.
9. The breathing mask is intended for single use. The respirator is intended for use on a
normal work shift.
10. The particle-filtering half masks of classes FFP2 and FFP3 can protect against infection
protect against diseases, but does not represent 100% protection against infectious
diseases for the wearer of the respirator. FFP1 respirators, or respiratory protection.
Protective masks with an exhalation valve must not be used at all when used in the area of
infection protection.
11. The mask should not be used again. We do not recommend any maintenance or

17. The FFP2 respirator must not be put into the hands of children. If children should

Important: In the area of personal protective equipment (PPE) according to EN 149: 2001 + A1:
2009, a distinction is made between three categories of particle-filtering FFP half masks against
solid and liquid aerosols: The FFP1, FFP2 and the FFP3 respirator. Before reading this information
further, please check which category your mask belongs to. You can find this information both on
the mask itself and on the packaging.
APPLICATION:
FFP1 particle-filtering half masks of category FFP1 protect against solid and liquid particles and
against fine dust up to 4 times the valid MAK or TRK value. FFP2 particle-filtering half masks of
category FFP2 protect against solid and liquid particles and fine dust up to 10 times the valid MAK
or TRK value. FFP3 particle-filtering half masks of category FFP3 protect against solid and liquid
particles and fine dust up to 30 times the current MAK or TRK value. In the area of pandemic
containment or PPE against Corona / Covid-19, only particle-filtering half masks of the categories
FFP2 and FFP3 are recommended. Current information on the subject of the corona pandemic or
Covid-19 can be found at the RKI (Robert Koch Institute).
The technical guideline concentration
(TRK value) indicates the concentration of a substance as
gas, vapor or suspended matter in the air at the workplace, which according to the state of the
art may be reached as a maximum.
The maximum workplace concentration (MAK value) indicates the maximum permissible
concentration of a substance as gas, vapor or suspended matter in the air at the workplace
CHECK BEFORE USE: Before use, please ensure that your particle filtering half mask including all
components has no holes, tears or other damage. If you have discovered damage to the species
protection mask, please do not use this mask under any circumstances. Please use a new FFP
respirator.
Instructions for correctly putting on the respirator, this must be followed every time the mask
is put on!
Wash hands thoroughly or disinfect hands before putting on the mask. When unpacking the
mask, please be careful not to touch the inside of the mask if possible. Before putting on the
mask, make sure that the breathing mask can only be grasped by the straps and moved while it is
being put on. Taking off the mask: Please note that the outside of your respirator mask can be
contaminated and therefore there is a possibility that if you take off the mask incorrectly,
pathogens can spread to your hands and thus later into the airways.
As soon as the respirator is moistened, your mask loses its protective effect and should be
changed urgently. As already explained, pay attention to the possibility of your own contaminati-
on when settling down!
For reasons of hygiene, please do not place your mask on tables or surfaces where you or those
around you can come into contact with it.
Please wash your hands again or disinfect well after removing the mask.
1. Carefully remove the mask from its packaging and fold or open it. The mask withouttouching

The FPP2 mask is available with a neck strap, the FFP3 as a fish-type mask and the
FFP3 regular-type with an S-hook around the ears.to connect loops behind the head to
increase wearing comfort.
2. Pull the respirator over your chin, mouth and nose and press it against your face.
3. Grasp both ear loops with your hands and the loops over both ears to lead. The integrated

nasal bone.
4. Alternatively, you can use the neck strap or the loop or the S-hook so that the ears are relieved
when worn for long periods of time. Place the ear loops in the corresponding loops of the neck
strap or the S-hook. You practically attach the mask behind the head in the neck area. Check
the fit of the mask and make sure the two Ends of the mask ear loops are each securely
hooked. Please make sure you have the mask with you is still close to the face.
5. Adjust the mask to the nose over the temple and in the chin area.
