4.14 Exchanging the ring connectors at the valves
►
Cut
the
old
ring
connectors from the
wirings.
►
Use the ring connectors
from the repair kit to
connect the wirings.
►
Wrap the shrinking tube around the ring connectors.
4.15 Exchanging the water tubes
Depending on the manufacturing date of the appliance, the water
system is one of the following:
Filter outlet
►
Insert the filter outlet tube into the new valve inlet.
Ice maker inlet
►
Take out the old tube between the valve and the ice maker inlet.
►
Insert the new water tube ¼.
►
If necessary, cut to the adequate length.
Water tank inlet
Water tube 1/4
►
Insert the water tube 5/16 into the valve.
►
Connect the tube to the tank inlet tube with a 1/4
– 5/16 Quick
connector.
