POWER SOURCE
Battery operation
1. Open the battery cover.
2. Insert 2 “AA” size (UM-3) batteries into the battery compartment, making
sure that the batteries are installed with the proper polarities (+ and –).
To prevent possible damage to this radio:
Load new batteries with their polarities (+ and –) aligned correctly.
• Do not apply heat to batteries, or internal short-circuit may occur.
• If this radio is not to be used for a long period of time, remove all batteries
and store them in a cool and dry place.
• Remove dead batteries immediately.
• Do not use old and new batteries together. Do not use different type of
batteries.
• Battery life: If the sound becomes low or distorted, replace batteries with
new ones.
