7.1 Clean the cartridge filter and filter package
WARNING! Risk of personal injury.
Always use proper protective equipment, and do not spread dust when
cleaning or replacing filters, see Figure 11 .
NOTE! Clean the filter after each use.
1. Turn off vacuum cleaner.
2. Remove filter and empty dust from filter into a container or dust bag.
3. Clean cartridge filter by either tapping it lightly on the floor or washing it,
if using a washable filter.
NOTE! If using a washable filter, it can be washed with water and detergent. Let
it air dry.
NOTE! Replace cartridge filter after it has been washed twice.
NOTE! If cartridge filter is placed into a dust bag for disposal, tie off the dust
bag, see Figure 11 .
7.1.1 Manual reverse air cleaning
See Figure 10.
1. Turn on vacuum cleaner.
2. Disconnect hose 10 (A).
3. Open and close lid 10 (B).
4. Repeat three times.
7.2 Replace the cartridge filter and filter package

NOTE! Replacing the entire filter package is recommended. When only changing the
socks, the filter ring should also be replaced. .
1. Turn off vacuum cleaner.
2. Remove the filter and place it into a container or dust bag.
NOTE!
If the filter is placed into a dust bag for disposal, tie off the dust bag, see
Figure 11 .
3. Put in the new filter.
7.3 Side channel fan
The fan is equipped with sealed ball bearings requiring no lubrication. The
units are maintenance free.
NOTE! Repairs on the fan may only be performed by the manufacturer.
7.4 Routine inspection and service
Follow the list below to routinely inspect, and repair or replace worn
and damaged parts on the inside and outside of the vacuum cleaner. See
