1 Preface
Thank you for using a Nederman product!

tification plate carefully before installation, use, and
service of this product. Replace documentation imme-
diately if lost. Nederman reserves the right, without
previous notice, to modify and improve its products
including documentation.
This product is designed to meet the requirements
of relevant EC directives. To maintain this status, all
installation, maintenance, and repair is to be done
by qualified personnel using only Nederman original
spare parts and accessories. Contact the nearest au-
thorized distributor or Nederman for advice on tech-
nical service and obtaining spare parts. If there are
any damaged or missing parts when the product is de-
livered, notify the carrier and the local Nederman rep-
resentative immediately.
2 Safety

3 Applications, technical data
See Figure 1 .
Check maximum working pressure (MPa) on the iden-
tification label of the reel.
Weight, without hose ~ 23 kg
Ambient temp -10 °C - + 60 °C
Material recycling 100 weight-%
18 MPA/maximum 150 °C: High-pressure washing.
NOTE!
Hose Reel 886 must not be used for max. tem-
perature and max. pressure at the same time.
4 Mounting instruction
See Figure 2 .
Fit the swivel.
NOTE!
The enclosed sealing washers are to be used
under the nuts, see
Figure 2 A.
Hose Reel 886 can be wall-, floor- or ceiling mounted,
see
Figure 2 . The maximum installation height above
floor level is 4 m. Mount Hose Reel 886 so that ex-
cessive bending of the hose against the outlet rollers
is avoided. Select a level surface and use the template
to mark the holes.
Ensure that suitable fixing bolts are used and that
they are secure. The bolts must each stand a torque
force of a minimum of 7300 N. Use sealing washers
under the bolt heads. Use a suitable sealing com-
pound between the back of the footplate and the
mounting position, see
Figure 2 B.
NOTE!
The lifetime of the hose can be affected negat-
ively by chemicals and strong UV- or heat radi-
ation.
4.1 Selecting hose
When selecting the hose, see the dimension and
working pressure on the Hose Reel 886 identification
label.
4.2 Hose fitting
See Figure 3 .
WARNING! Risk of personal injury
Hose Reel 886 is equipped with spring under
tension, which can cause personal injury. Read
the following instructions for hose fitting care-
fully.
1 Install Hose Reel 886 in the intended place.
2 Check that the safety loop is mounted.
3 Pull the hose through the outlet of the reel and
the opening of the drum side.
4 Connect the end of the hose onto the swivel. Then
lay the hose, fully extended from the reel, on the
floor.
5 Fit the hose stop.
6 Carefully release the safety loop without turning
the drum. Hang the loop on the stand as shown in
the picture.
