When using User pixel correction, it is recommended to first perform automatic gain
adjustment with pixel correction off (send command “C0”), then to obtain pixel
correction data.
After performing automatic white balance correction, each channel’s gain setting can be
read out with the “sta” command, and each channel’s gain setting can also be set
individually.

4.13 Pixel Correction Function
Any image sensor, regardless of type (CCD, CMOS, etc) has a non-uniformity of
sensitivity from pixel to pixel. Furthermore, when using a lens, due to the shading
characteristics of the lens, the amount of light reaching each pixel may vary. This camera
product is shipped with the pixel non-uniformity corrected, allowing a high quality image
to be captured.
In order to correct lens shading and non-uniformity of the light source, a user white
correction function is built into the camera.
Cal_wh
: Output data of each pixel with uniform lighting (digital)
Target_val
: Correction target value (10 bit digital value)
Vin
: Input data (digital)
Vout
: Output data (digital), where
Vout = (Vin x Target_Val) / Cal_wh
is the formula used for correction.
