Hot Docking — with NEC Versa power on and the system in full
operation mode. This procedure can be used with NEC Versa systems
with a Plug and Play operating system, such as Windows 95.
Use the following steps to dock your NEC Versa.
1.
Locate the height lever on the left side of the unit.

Set the height lever on the side of the NEC Versa Dock to match
your system as follows:
CAUTION
It is important that the height lever is set to the
correct height for system docking. The NEC Versa
Dock will not properly dock the NEC Versa if the
height lever is set incorrectly, which may result in
system damage to either the NEC Versa Dock or the
NEC Versa. The Docking LED blinks amber if the
height lever is set incorrectly.

If you have an NEC Versa LX, set the lever to I by sliding the
lever to the front.
