Disassembly and Reassembly   3-13

Removing the Support Plate Mounting Screws

A – Support Plate

E – Plastic Shield

B – Network Board Screw

F – PC Card Bay

C – Network Board

G – Special Screw

D – System Board

4. 

Slide the black plastic shield out of the PC card bay to access the special
screw securing the system board to the support plate.

5. 

Remove the special screw securing the system board to the support plate. Be
sure to reuse the special screw when reassembling the support plate to the
circuit board.

6. 

Lift the system board off the support plate and set the board on a static free
surface. Use care to prevent damage to the diskette drive cable and
CD-ROM drive cable on the system board.
