5. Using On-Screen Menu
Selecting Signal Format [SIGNAL SELECT]
[COMPUTER]
Allows
you
to
choose
[COMPUTER]
for
an
RGB
source
such
as
a
computer,
or
[COMPONENT]
for
a
component
video
source
such
as
a
DVD
player.
Normally
select
[RGB/COMPONENT]
and
the
projector
automatically
detects
a
component
signal.
However
there
may
be
some
component
signals
that
the
projector
is
unable
to
detect.
If
this
is
the
case,
select
[COMPONENT].
[VIDEO]
This feature enables you to select composite video standards automatically or manually.
Factory
default
setting
is
[AUTO]
and
the
projector
will
automatically
detect
the
video
standard.
In
the
case
where
the
projector
has
difficult
detecting
the
video
standard,
select
the
appropriate
video
standard
from the menu.
Enabling or Disabling WXGA Mode [WXGA MODE]
Selecting [ON] will give
priority
to
WXGA (1280 ×
800
)/WUXGA (1920 × 1200)
signal
s in
re
cognizing an input
signal.
NOTE:
[ON] is selected at the time of shipment.
Enabling the deinterlace [DEINTERLACE]
Turns
on
or
off
the
deinterlace
function
for
a
telecine
signal.

• Volume control for [BEEP] is disabled. AV-MUTE button is not effective to stop beeping sound. If you want to activate BEEP function, set
