System Upgrade 8-35

Installing Full Height PCI Board

Shut down the OS.
The server is automatically powered off.

Unplug the power cords.

Remove the CPU/IO module referring to page 8-12.

Stopper

Remove one screw that secures the stopper and remove
it.

Remove three screws that secure the Riser Card, and
remove it from the motherboard.

Remove one screw that secures the stopper and remove
the stopper from the Riser Card.

Riser Card

Stopper

Verify the location of the CPU socket.
