8. STANDBY FUNCTIONS
In order to fully exploit the
µ
PD75512 low power dissipation, CPU operation can be stopped by setting the unit
to the standby mode, thus, further reducing power dissipation. The
µ
PD75512 features two standby modes, a STOP
mode and a HALT mode.
