INASET R2 User Guide - Revision 1

Erase a Message without Responding:

• Press the function key for

Msg

(as needed) to display

the specific message to erase.

• Press the

key, message is erased.

Call Pick-Up

Call Pick-Up allows you to answer another ringing phone, in

your call pick-up group, from your INASET R2 phone.

• When a phone rings (in your call pick-up group), lift

handset and press the function key for

Call Pickup

Begin Conversation.

If Currently on a Call

• Press the

Transfer

key, then press the function key

for

Call Pickup

. Your original call is placed on hold,

begin conversation with the call pickup caller.

• Press

Transfer

again to return to your original caller.

Outgoing Trunk Queuing

You can queue your outgoing call when all PBX system

trunks are busy.

• Dial an outgoing trunk call and hear a trunks busy

indication, press the function key for

Callback

Replace handset. Your call is placed in queue for next

available trunk.

• When a trunk is available, your INASET R2 will ring.

Lift handset, dial tone is heard or number is

automatically dialed (if NEAX2400 IPX is programmed

for Least Cost Routing).

Off-Hook Trunk Queuing

• Press the

Speaker

key, hear dial tone.

• Dial Off-hook Queuing access code
• Dial desired number, receive trunk busy indication.
• Hear service set tone, leave speaker set to on. The

desired number is automatically dialed when a trunk

becomes available.

NOTE

Contact your phone system administrator to determine if your INASET R2 has this
function configured.
