Emulation device General term of devices that perform emulation
of target devices in the emulator
Includes the emulation CPU.
Emulation CPU CPU block which executes the program created
by the user in the emulator
Target device Device that is an emulation target (real chip)
Target program Program that is a debugging target (program
created by the user)
Target system System that is a debugging target (system
created by the user).
Includes a target program and hardware created
by the user.
Refers to hardware only in a narrow sense.
