Before installing Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions, read the following precautions
carefully.
Procedure for License Activation
When the backup CD-ROM is used, installation is made in the license-activated state.
When other OS CD-ROMs are used, a procedure for activating the license of the
Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions is required. The product key used in the procedure
and the product key indicated on the COA label provided with the Windows Server 2003
x64 Editions must match.
IMPORTANT
•
Perform activation within 30 days after installation.
After 30 days elapse, the system may be locked.
•
The COA label may be adhered to the device.

Disk Configuration
The disk area may contain an area labeled "EISA configuration". This area is a
maintenance partition for storing configuration information and utilities. Do not delete
this area.
