INSTALLING / REMOVING INTERNAL OPTIONAL
DEVICES

Preparing for Installation and Removal

Follow the procedure below to prepare for installing or removing components.

a.

Shut down the OS.

b.

Press the POWER switch to power off the NEC Express server (the POWER lamp goes
off).

c.

Unplug the NEC Express server power cord from the power outlet.

The power cord appended to
the server as standard.

d.

Remove all cables from the rear of the NEC Express server.

e.

Keep one to two meters clear around and over the NEC Express server.
