DISK Access LED ( )
DISK Access LED indicates the status of HDDs and optical disk drive.
The LED lights green whenever accessing to the HDD or optical disk drive.
If DISK Access LED lights amber, it means the HDD has failure. While rebuilding the HDD in the RAID
system, DISK Access LED flashes green and amber alternately. You can see the status of each HDD by
confirming DISK LED on the HDD
Tips
When using 3.5-inch fixed disk drive with RAID card, the indication of DISK Access LED is
as shown below.
The DISK Access LED lights amber when disk drive is degraded. However, it may be
shown as blinking depending on access status.
The DISK Access LED lights amber and green alternately while disk drives are being
rebuilt. However, LED may irregularly light amber and green depending on access status.
4.7.4
Optical Disk Access LED
The LED for optical disk drive at the front of the server flashes when a CD or DVD is being accessed.

LINK/ACT LED
The LINK LED lights green when the server and hub are powered and properly connected. ACT LED blinks
green when the port is transmitting or receiving data. The LINK LED lights green when the port is connected
with network.
