DTU-70D Series UHF DIGITAL TV TRANSMITTER
SECTION. 1 CAUTION AND SAFETY
1-1 General
This transmitter has a capacity capable of supplying energy up to 16.5kW at the
maximum of single rack as the high-frequency output. Therefore, mishandling the
transmitter may not only damage the equipment associated with the transmitter, but also
cause injury or death of persons in access to live parts. The instruction manual must be
read thoroughly before operation, and the transmitter must be correctly handled and
operated.
1-2 Cautions for Use
Expresses condition of a possible dangerous that has possibility of causing personal
death or injury if not avoided.
HIGH VOLTAGE
Supplied with 400V AC
(1) Before removing the rear or side door of the transmitter for maintenance work, turn
OFF all the ACBs on the front panel of the transmitter.
(2) When removing the ACB panel on the front face of the transmitter, turn the
distribution board in the station OFF before the removal.
(3) At the time of maintenance work, select the “LOCAL” control mode. If the
“REMOTE” control mode is selected, a danger in which the transmitter is control led
by a third party will be incurred.
