Installing Options 5-23

Align the cable connector to the matching pins on the
drive.

Locate an available power connector coming from the
power supply.

Connect the appropriate power cable to the power
connector on the device.

Connecting device cables

If you are installing an IDE CD-ROM drive, also
connect the audio cable (see the instructions that came
with the drive).

Cabling an Accessible 5 1/4-Inch Device

Connect the diskette drive signal cable connector to the
appropriate connector on the device as shown in the
following figure.

Locate an available power connector.
