Note: Use of an extension cable may invalidate the unit’s UL Classification.
Use only copper wire for power wiring. Power extension cable shall be constructed in accordance with
applicable hospital and electrical codes. The table below shows the maximum cable length for a given wire
gauge.
Cable should be constructed of
SJT, SJTO, SJO, ST, SO, STO or equivalent flexible cord per US National
Difference Clause 59.1DV. Users outside of the U.S. should adhere to the applicable electrical codes for their
country.
