2.3.7 USB Printer Connector
The USB A connector is for a CUSP compatible printer.
2.3.8 USB Serial Connector
The USB B simulates a serial port when connected to a P.C.
2.3.9 Ethernet RJ45 Connector
The Ethernet connection uses a telnet connection to send and receive PURL commands and send data.
2.3.10 Fixture Connector
The fixture connector offers two four-bit output ports capable of driving a four-phase stepper motor. Port #1 (Pins

– 5) can be used for either a motor port OR open-collector outputs. Port #2 (Pins 7 – 10) can be used for either
for a motor port OR open-collector outputs. Port #1 comes configured from the factory with a motor driver chip
installed. Port #2 comes configured from the factory with an open collector driver chip installed.
Only one motor
may be used, but it can be wired and configured to work on either port.
Note: The digital outputs and motor port appear twice in this table. This design allows a customer to have both
digital outputs and a motor port if desired.
The pin-out for this DB-25 connector is shown below.
