tab
: Used to configure and start PrPD or Waveform acquisition,
adjust acoustic sensor gain, use monitoring mode, use Auto-Loc mode,
configure inhibition channels and configure filters and pre-amplification
levels.
Preset Configuration dropdown menu
: Select a preset
configuration between
Custom, Waveform (64PD), Waveform
(1024PD), Waveform (64AE), Waveform (1024AE), PrPd (Quick) or
PrPd (High Resolution)
. The number in these preset labels stands
for the averaging sampling count, AE stands for acoustic and PD
stands for the PD channel.
Measurement dropdown menu
: Select the acquisition mode
between Waveforms or PrPD.
Phase Sync Input dropdown menu
: Select the phase
synchronization input mode between Wireless module and Analog
input.
Averaging dropdown menu
: Select the averaging level (higher the
number, higher the averaging).
The averaging in PrPd measurement mode is labled
“Cycles”: This determines the duration of acquisition,
in number of Power Frequency network cycles.
Pre-trigger /Angle dropdown menu
:
Pre-trigger (Waveform mode only): Sets the time buffer
before the triggering events.
Angle (PrPD mode only): Select the PrPD angle resolution
between 32, 64, 128 or 256.
Acq. Length/Amplitude dropdown menu
:
Acquired length (Waveform mode only): Select the
acquisition length from 85us to 22ms.
Amplitude (PrPD mode only): Select the PrPD amplitude
resolution between 32, 64, 128 or 256.
Trigger Window fields
: Click the checkbox to enable the trigger
window fields. Manually type the trigger window start and stop
values (in degrees) or use the cursors and Set trigger window
button in the PrPD tab.
Auto-Set button
: Click the Auto-Set button to launch the automatic
gain adjustment process for acoustic channels. The result will be
displayed in the Channels tab.
Start button
: Click the Start button to launch the PrPD or
Waveform acquisition.
