XDP-II User’s Guide

A  low  voltage  is  required  to  work  with  transformers  (0  to  130V  or  0 to 250V).  A 
variable  transformer  (Variac)  is  used  to  control  the  voltage  connected  to  the 
transformer  secondary  winding.  The  voltage  is  increased  until  partial  discharges 
appear. 

Note:  The  XDP-II  will  shut  down  automatically  after  15  minutes  of  inactivity.  If 

this occurs, calibration must be redone.
