Turn the knob on the cassette in the direction of the arrow to 
tighten the ribbon

.

Replace the protective cover on the rear of the printer

.

13

Switch on the ATM power.

14

Wait for the operator display to come back on (this may take up 
to 5 minutes after switching the power on).

15

Push the printer back into the ATM until it clicks into place.

16

Follow your in-house procedures to indicate that you have 
fixed, without replacing, the journal printer mechanism.

17

If your ATM does not have the auto-supervisor option, press the 
switch on the operator panel to the normal position.

18

Close and lock the exterior of the ATM.
