Installing the NCR 7825
The NCR Remote Compact Display ships completely assembled from the factory; no
installation assembly is required. The installation procedures extend from inspecting a
received NCR 7825 through verifying that the installed unit is operational.
Note:
Installation procedures and cable routing may differ depending on the
scanner/scale unit used together with the NCR 7825 display. For more information on
using the NCR 7825 as a remote compact display for scanner/scale units, for display
diagnostics, and for other installation options, refer to specific NCR scanner
documentations.
To install the NCR 7825 display, follow these steps:
1. Position the NCR 7825 on its mounting location, ensuring that the cable is properly
routed and is not pinched.
2. Secure the base using two screws that are appropriate for the mounting surface.
3. Connect the NCR 7825 cable to Scale Display connector on the back of the
scanner/scale unit.
