Driving Controls
ACCELERATION
To make the dumper go faster depress the accelerator pedal
(A) with your right foot , this will increase the revs of the
engine.
SLOWING DOWN / STOPPING
To slow down remove your foot from the accelerator pedal,
this will automatically slow down the dumper.
(When the accelerator pedal is fully released the park brake is
applied)
EMERGENCY PARK BRAKE
Emergency stopping, the dumper will retard to stop normally
when the accelerator pedal is released. Using the Park Brake
Switch (B) will stop the dumper more quickly. The rate of
deceleration will be increased over the normal slowing down
as the power to the forward and reverse solenoids is removed
effectively putting the dumper into neutral and the engaging of
the brake pads in the rear wheel motors.
TO STEER THE DUMPER
Use steering wheel (D) to control direction of vehicle from left
to right (operate steering wheel with hands only). The vehicle
pivots about the centre of the machine.
If using the knob on the steering wheel ensure the non steering
hand is holding on the grab-rail on the engine cover
SKIP CONTROL
Use the levers to the right hand side of the seat to control the lifting and swivelling of the
skip.
•
To tip the Skip, push the lever to the front.
•
To return the Skip to the loading position pull the lever to
the rear.
•
To rotate the skip; tip the skip slightly to lift it out of the
lock and pull the lever to the desired direction.
This is indicated on the yellow sticker (E)
