Ser vice life of b atte ries
The battery normally last fo r abou t one
year although this depends on how ofte n
the remote control is used.
If the remote c ontrol fails to work even
when it is operated near the playe r, replace
the batteries.
Use one type C R2025 battery.

Battery installation
Insert the ba ttery w hile o bservi ng the correct
(+) and (-) polaritie s as il lustrated at right(Fig 1).
Remote co ntrol operation
1. R emov e the p rotec tive pl astic ta b befo re
o perating the remote con trol.
2. Keep the rem ote co ntrol f rom no more than
6 m fro m the D VD p layer a nd wit hin ab out
6 0 of th e fron t of the playe r (Fig 2).
Th e ope rating distan ce may vary accord ing
t o the b rightn ess of the ro om.
D o not point b right lights a t remo te con trol
s ensor.
D o not place object s betw een th e rem ote
c ontrol and th e rem ote co ntrol s ensor.
D o not use th is rem ote co ntrol w hile
s imulta neous ly ope rating the re mote c ontrol
o f any other e quipm ent.

It is possible to change the audio soundtrack
language to a different language from the one
se lected at the initial setting s (This ope ration
works only with discs on which multiple audio
so undtrack lan guage s are recorded).
Press AUDIO button while playi ng DVD disc , the screen will display the number of curre nt
soundtrack languages,pressing the button again will change the language.
Pressing AU DIO button w hile playing VCD disc will change audio output mo de: Le ft mono,
Right m ono, Mix-mono and Stereo.
NOTE: When no soundtrack languages are recor ded, pressing this button will not w ork.
When the power is turned on or the disc is removed, the language hear d is the one
selected at the initial settings.
NOTE: When no s ubtitles are recorded,
press thi s butt on wil l not w ork.
It is possible to change the subtitl e lang uage t o
a differe nt language from th e one selected at
th e initia l settings.( This op eration work s only
wi th discs on which multiple subti tle language s

2. Press SUBTITLE b utton continuously to
