SKIP AND SEARCH MODE
1.
Press the
/+
[6] or
/–
[7] button to go to the next track or return to the beginning of the current
track, respectively.
2.
Press and hold the
/+
[6] or
/–
[7] button to scan quickly through a track during CD playback.
REPEAT/RANDOM PLAYBACK MODES
Press the MODE button [8] to cycle through all of playback modes. The current mode will be shown on the
LCD screen [5].
Repeat 1
The current track will be repeated until it is interrupted.
Repeat All
The whole disc will be played continuously.
RAND
Random
The tracks on the disc will be played in random order.
PROGRAM PLAY MODE
This function allows music tracks to be played in a programmed sequence.
NOTE:
Program can only be set while the unit is in CD mode and playback has been stopped.
1. Press the MODE Button [8]. The CD Track Display will display “01” and “PROG” will blink on the LCD
screen [5].
2. Press the
/+
[6] or
/–
[7] button to select the song to be saved in the program list.
3. Press the MODE button [8] again to save the track. The CD Track Display will advance to “02”.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to save as many as 20 tracks to the program list. If you attempt to program more
than 20 tracks, the LCD screen [5] will read “FUL” .
6. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button [13] to begin programmed play. The first track in program will appear in
the LCD display [5]. Press the
/+
[6] or
/–
[7] button to show all the programmed songs.
7. To cancel programmed play, press the STOP button [12].
8. As long as the unit remains on and the CD Door [2] is not opened, you can resume playing the program
list at any time by pressing the MODE button [8] and then PLAY/PAUSE [13].
9. To skip 10 tracks at a time, press and hold the MODE button [8] for two seconds, and then press the
/+
[6] or
/–
[7] button. To return to normal operation, press the MODE button [8] again, or wait 3
seconds without pressing a button.
USB FUNCTION
CONNECTING A USB DEVICE
1.
Connect a USB flash memory drive to the USB port [16] located on the side of the unit.
2.
Press the FUNC button [9] to switch to USB function mode. The unit will detect the USB flash memory
drive and read any compatible MP3 files from it.
3.
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button [13] to start playback; press the STOP button [12] to stop playback.
Remark: Depending on the capacity of the device, the reading can take more than 1 minute.
The unit cannot read my USB device.
1. If your USB device needs power, you may need to switch on before connecting it to the boombox.
2. This unit does not support a direct USB connection with a computer. You need to use a USB flash
memory device, or an MP3 player.
3. If you are connecting a USB external hard disk: you may need to connect it to both an external power
source and the boombox. If you are using a self-powered PMP, make sure that the battery is sufficiently
charged.
4. Check that your USB device is formatted in the FAT or FAT 32 file system format. USB device formatted
as NTFS are not compatible with this unit.
Caution: if you attempt to modify your file system, formatting
your device will erase all data. Please refer to your USB device’s instruction manual first.
