Safety Information
Precaution in regard to using the device
Please make sure that the power is off when you install the device.
In your car connect the device to charger only when the engine is already running.
Voltage peaks appearing when you start the engine, can cause damage of the device
.
1. In your car connect the device to charger only when the engine is already running.
2. Do not store or use the device in extremely low or high temperatures, as it may damage it.
Precaution in regard to using the GPS
1. It is not possible to receive the GPS signal in hermitical area like tunnel or underground parking
lot. Also, the GPS signal can be unstable when the vehicle is located beside of tall buildings.
2. Please avoid installing other devices which generate electromagnetic. It can cause problem
receiving GPS signal. (Install other devices from at least 40 cm away.)
3. If front windshield is coated with a reflective layer, glass may be metallised/heated and may
jam the GPS signal. In that case, please install the device in “clear area” – i.e. under the
rear-view mirror.
