About these operating instructions

These operating instructions are part of the product.

Do not use the product until you have read and understood the operating instructions in full.

Pass on the operating instructions and all documents belonging to the product to all users of the product.

The manufacturer accepts no liability or warranty for any damage or consequential damage resulting from non-
compliance with these operating instructions or non-compliance with the regulations, provisions and standards
applicable at the place of use of the product.

Intended use

This product is a solar-powered outdoor light. Operate the product vertically only. The solar panel is weatherproof and
should be charged in direct sunlight. The battery is delivered in a partially charged state. Full capacity is available after
approx. three day

s of operation in sunshine. To activate the product, turn the switch to ‘ON’. At twilight, the product

switches on automatically. A charged battery can provide a constant lighting time of up to 8 hours. Bad weather
conditions can shorten the time span.

Safety

The mounting material supplied with wall and ceiling luminaires is designed for installation on a concrete ceiling or
plastered masonry. For installation on a different mounting surface, the mounting material must be adapted to the
surface.
